Small and peaceful location

Pros

- Peaceful neighborhood - Walls are thick so barely any noise - Train lines are reliable - Very dependable super

Cons

- Across the street from school so kids playing outside at lunchtime was very noisy - Bugs and roaches in the stairwell but not in unit - Heat was too much so hotter inside then out

Dingy and dumpy

Pros

It’s cheap and In a good location

Cons

The building is falling apart and there is MINIMAL effort for all repairs. They’ll repair, but they’ll ruin something else along the way. For example: my ceiling was replaced (but they broke my furniture and splattered paint and dust throughout my apartment). They replaced my bathroom sink (but they replaced it with something that looks like they found in a junk yard). They replaced my bathroom floor (but they used disgusting lenolium tile and left globs of glue everywhere). My entire floor is also slanted / not level since the building’s foundation has likely moved. Also, the electricity goes out easily with appliances. The place also smells like garbage, which they can’t seem to resolve. I’m assuming there’s mildew, but they won’t hire a reliable company to find the source.

Advice to the owners

Renovate this property! It’s disgusting.
