Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews for buildings managed by ALLIED REALTY & DEVELOPMENT CORP reveal mixed experiences among tenants. Many appreciate the cleanliness and location of the properties, along with responsive maintenance teams at some buildings. However, significant concerns linger regarding management responsiveness, particularly in emergencies and pest control issues. Renters have reported inadequate heat, persistent noise from neighbors, and rising rent costs, indicating possible dissatisfaction with the management approach. Overall, while some residents recommend the buildings for their value and upkeep, consistent management shortcomings suggest potential challenges for future tenants.

Reviews

Good location for students + young professionals

Pros

Short distance to L train, target, and trader joes. Utility price is slightly better than average since they cover hot water.

Cons

Walls/ceilings are thin so you can hear what your upstairs neighbors are doing. The building also has a tiny roach infestation that gets pretty bad in the summer but there is a monthly exterimation service that usually does the trick.

Pros

Well maintained, in a great area

Cons

There is the occasional mouse
