AVOID AT ALL COSTS - BANDAIDS NEVER REAL FIXES! MICE, FLOODING

Pros

Nice people in the building, kind super who genuinely wants to help.

Cons

5 years of repeating issues: - Leaks, mold, pests including roaches and mice - lower units reported rats - The leaks are waterfalls. In my unit it primarily caused damage in my living room and entry way which are on opposite sides of the apartment which means the water in everywhere - just better contained in certain areas. The repair is only for vanity, never to actually fix the issue - proof of the this is in the unit above me mushrooms sprouted from there wall after a storm on 8/20/26 - on 8/23/26 the mushrooms LARGE sprouted from the wall. Later that day my unit had black mold that was not there the day before. This is months if not years of unprepared infrastructure damage. Rotted wood, moisture and spores infected the entire air of the unit for myself and my pet. - My leaks have happened every year. Every year they claim its fixed. It never is and keep recurring. - In the winter of 2026 during the freezing period THE ENTIRE BUILDING was without heat, hot water for 2 weeks with little response form management. I have yet to receive a reimbursement for this rent. - Management - rude, unprofessional and tries to smooth things over with BS. Screams and curses at you and his solve is always "They just move out!" - Sure so you can charge a grand more for my unit and screw someone else over? - Painted over black mold in the hallway vs. inspecting and fixing the root of the issue properly. - Elevator gets stuck, with people locked in for long periods of time in INSANE HEAT - have never properly fixed the real issue of the elevator - always a bandaid. - Packages stolen - no safety - fake cameras after repeatedly asked to install real ones - Owner of the building is broke - nothing will ever be fixed right.

Advice to the owners

Condemn the building, start over if. If you can't afford to maintain a building to keep it habitable cut your loses and get into a new business.

Overall wouldn’t recommend.

Pros

Nice area outside the apartment.

Cons

would not recommend living in this building due to serious management and maintenance issues. During the winter, my apartment temperature dropped to around 56 degrees because heat and hot water were not working. There was also a smoky odor near the boiler, which raised safety concerns. These are basic habitability issues, not minor inconveniences. What made the situation worse was the lack of communication from building management.

Advice to the owners

Don’t nickel and dime. Be responsive.
