Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Reviews for buildings managed by Steven Ancona reveal a consistent strength in management responsiveness and building cleanliness, especially in well-maintained locations like Williamsburg. Tenants appreciate the prompt communication, modern amenities, and a generally positive community vibe despite some noise, often linked to younger or short-term renters. However, certain buildings face maintenance challenges, including heating issues, pest control lapses, and occasional slow repair resolutions. Some tenants note management's inflexibility and higher rents. Instances of unaddressed persistent problems and poorly maintained older buildings have led to dissatisfaction, but overall, Steven Ancona's buildings are considered clean, safe, and well-managed, with management striving to improve tenant experience.

Great Neighborhood .

Pros

I stayed here for a while and honestly it just felt easy to live in. Not chaotic, not overly social, just a comfortable place to come back to after the city. Williamsburg is lively, but inside the house it was pretty calm. I liked that balance. Nothing fancy, but it worked well for everyday life.

Cons

Walls are not perfectly soundproof, so you sometimes hear normal roommate noise, but nothing extreme.
