Horrible landlord and crumbling apartment
Pros
The area was amazing, super close to multiple subway lines on a beautiful tree lined street.
Cons
The landlord was terrible to us as tenants and kicked everyone out of the building for renovations. The building was falling apart and he refused to fix most issues while we lived there. We had mice and cockroaches, leaks in the sealing, heating issues, etc. Do not recommend renting from Michael Silverman, all he cares about is money.

Bigtime mouse and roach problems!! Landlord who does the absolute bare minimum to keep the building running, and was constantly sending incompetent relatives rather than professional plumbers/electricians/carpenters etc. Also- there are no individual valves on the radiators, so we had no way to turn them off and it was always crazy hot in the apartment in the winter.
