Usually great and clean

Pros

-clean -pretty quiet during weekdays -super is responsive and helpful

Cons

-very noisy on fridays and saturdays bc of the nightclub next door -water pressure is bad and water takes a long time to get hot - elevator is broken often

Mediocre building in a great location

Pros

Very close to Columbus Circle station, Whole Foods, and all the best NYC culture (Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Broadway). Choice of several gyms nearby. Amazing location. The super is great. It's probably one of the less expensive buildings on 57th st.

Cons

There is a club next door (The Stranger) that causes my apartment to vibrate on Friday and Saturday nights. The elevator and buzzers constantly break. Repairs to apartment take forever. We went 2 years without cooking gas. Packages get stolen constantly. The radiators make a hell of a lot of noise.

Advice to the owners

The responsiveness of management if awful. I will never rent from AJ Clarke again.
