Elmord Management: ILLEGALLY WITHHELD SECURITY DEPOSIT

Elmord Management has illegally withheld funds and are ignoring my calls and emails. After 60 days of moving out, they hadn't returned a single cent of my security deposit. After I reached out multiple times, they returned only a portion. Under New York General Obligations Law § 7‑108(1‑a)(e), they are proceeding illegally. It has been two additional months and I am still being ignored and treated as if I am the problem.
Advice to the owners
Follow the laws.
Terrible Management from Elmord Management-don't invest your money

Not much good to say, the building isn't bad itself but the management makes it a terrible experience.
Cons
Management is racist and absolutely despicable. They don't care at all about the experience of the tenants and actively ignore us when we call and email. All they care about is their money. They do not like to fix issues, they don't care about security and if your package was stolen, they probably will not care to send you your security deposit back so be careful
