Best Neighbors you could ask for!
Pros
Our unit was very spacious for how little we were paying in rent. Lots of sunlight. Laundry in the basement was free. All utilities were included, even electric, so we only had to pay for the internet. Landlord and super a very responsive when things need fixing. The neighbors in the other units in the building as well as on the block are so friendly!! I’ve become great friends with many of them. Quiet residential street, short walk to the L train. Mostly good things to say about this building!
Cons
The ground floor and basement units regularly see water damage and sometimes flooding from pipes (the top two units don’t though). There’s the occasional roach and in the summer and spring there is a fly problem. Heat works TOO well in the upstairs units, we were roasting.
Advice to the owners
Actually replace the pipe system instead of continuing to use band-aid solutions.
