Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews for buildings managed by Tomer Erlich reveal a mixed management experience. While some properties, notably on Myrtle Avenue and Lexington Avenue, are praised for cleanliness, modern amenities, and responsive management, others suffer from significant issues including unresponsiveness, poor maintenance, pest problems, and security concerns like broken doors and package theft. Mold, water damage, and noise further complicate living conditions in certain locations. Tenants frequently express frustration over delayed or inadequate fixes and occasional rude interactions. Prospective renters can expect better upkeep and communication in newer or renovated buildings, but should be cautious as management responsiveness varies widely across properties.

Mold throughout apartment, made me sicker than I've ever been

Pros

Neighbors are super nice, neighborhood is fantastic

Cons

At first it felt great, but then.....the laundry room flooded and was covered in mold. I reported it and they did nothing for months. Turns out there was also a mold in the apartment, and management did nothing to fix it even after professional tests. I got sicker than I've ever been and had to move out, and they kept my security deposit even after re-renting the apt and didn't return an extra month's rent to me that I'd accidentally overpaid. I had to get rid of my couch, my bed, chairs, and all my pillows and blankets and sheets and buy new ones. Landlord yelled at me on the phone threatening to sue me.
