Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews for buildings managed by 260-135 LLC underline a concerning trend regarding management responsiveness and maintenance. While many residents appreciate the friendly atmosphere and decent heating, they express significant frustrations over delayed repairs, pest issues, and cleanliness standards that leave much to be desired. The positivity of community and location is often overshadowed by the shortcomings in management practices, including a lack of timely responses to maintenance requests. Overall, potential renters should be prepared for possible inconveniences and ongoing management challenges while appreciating the vibrant neighborhood and neighborly environment.

Hit or miss kind of more of a miss

Pros

Neighbors are nice. If you can suffer a little then it’s fine

Cons

Managers take FOREVER to fix anything. I mean like months or just don’t. Expect for when the bathroom ceiling caved fixed it in like a week. But when my roommate first went into the apartment it was INFESTED with roaches but then we annihilated them all no thank to the landlord and his no good pest control. They definitely purposely ignore things texts about things needing to be fixed. Also the best thing about this apartment was the natural light which will al be blocked out by a 10 story apartment next this. This apartment is 5. The area sucks unless you’re a man. the men here LOVE cat calling. This building is litterlay falling apart. Another neighbors kitchen celing caved. I would not recommend anyone living here. You have to hound them to fix anything.

Good apartment if your willing to suffer

Pros

Spacious, super super tall ceiling, I would say natural light but it’s all going to be gone by January 2027 because they’re building an apartment next-door and it’s going to genuinely cover all the natural light and I’m gonna say that 80% of the best thing about this apartment. It is insane how good the natural light is I never had to turn on the light until it got dark, but that’s all gonna go away by January 2027.

Cons

The owner will literally take 1 million years to fix something. When we first moved in, it was literally filled with roaches and absolutely disgusting. My roommate, and I had to kill all the roaches and clean it ourselves. Also, it gets insanely hot during the winter because of the pipes I mean, literally so freaking hot you can’t sleep and the owner won’t put the foam around the pipes until you ask - the supervisor told us (he later quit) the owner purposely doesn’t put the foam around the pipes until you ask, knowing that it gets too hot in the apartment.

Advice to the owners

It’s a good apartment if you’re willing to suffer a little
