Apt 2 Review
Pros
The building management is responsive. The central A/C and heat works effectively. Beautiful light. A nice washer dryer. Great deli on the corner.
Cons
Unfortunately our upstairs neighbors have nine dogs which we hear 24/7. Water pressure is bad and often will completely turn off. Floors are VERY thin. You can hear everything upstairs. Tiny fridge and freezer. Basement floods during rain.

Pros
Management is extremely responsive for repairs, they send a super/plumber quickly Great location No issues with pests No issues with hot water / heat Decent water pressure in bathroom, barely any in the kitchen sink Appliances are new, no issues
Cons
The gut renovations in this building are new and they decided to cheap out on the walls between apartment units. The amount of sound from your next door unit is UNBEARABLE. It was the primary reason I moved out last year despite not wanting to. You can hear EVERYTHING from your neighbor, their sneezing and farting and talking clear as day, but even worse the reverberating from day-to-day life (such a closing a door, shutting a drawer) is wildly abnormal. It became so distressing. There’s barely any street noise or backyard noise! However! You will hear ALL the noise from whoever you share a bedroom wall with (your neighbor and not your roommate who you chose to live with). It’s awful. Also, the front stop stairs are constantly covered in the most amount of bird poop I’ve ever seen in my life, it’s disgusting, and goes days without being hosed off.
Advice to the owners
Sound insulation between walls… for resident’s peace of mind….
