Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Prashanth Rayapudi reveals significant management challenges. Common issues include poor cleanliness and garbage management, persistent pest infestations, unreliable heating, and weak responsiveness from management. Many residents report noise disturbances and problematic neighbors, while some highlight safety concerns due to insecure entrances. While locations are generally praised, tenant communication is hindered by reliance on third-party call centers and frequent superintendent turnover. Rent hikes and inadequate maintenance further frustrate renters. Overall, prospective tenants should expect management to be largely unresponsive and ineffective in addressing tenant concerns or ensuring basic living standards.

Pros

- so close to the park - super quiet street not a lot of traffic - close enough to grocery stores (key food one avenue down)

Cons

- management isn’t great - apartment feels a bit cheap (things break easily) - small bedroom

The Absolute Worst

Pros

Location is great. That's the only pro.

Cons

There is a hoarder in the building so the amount of rodents and creatures that visit is infinite, no matter what you try to do. There are some nutty neighbors. The "super" is aggressive and threatening and keeps junk he's scavenged out in the front of the property, some in a stolen shopping cart. There are some tenants that scream nonstop, but they have been there for decades so there's nothing that can be done. The management is horrible, basically non-existent. They do not correct issues no matter how dire. The plumbing / pipes are old so the water temperature cannot be fully controlled or adjusted. You may get secodn dgree b

Advice to the owners

Adjust your rent pricing. All the renovations in the world mean nothing if you're living in a roach motel.
