Targo Management is a NIGHTMARE

Pros

We love this building. We've lived here for 3.5 years. The previous management was amazing and responsive. The building is old with a lot of old inner workings, but at least the previous management responded in a heartbeat and fixed whatever needed fixing promptly.

Cons

This new management, TARGO, is an absolute nightmare. "Unresposive" doesn't cut it. They do not care to respond to tenants over the simplest of matters, yet they blast out emails threatening to charge tenants $300 fines for each box not broken down. This is a LUXURY building. Our rent is insane. We should be taken care of appropriately. I personally break down my boxes, but if I miss one or two here and there, I shouldn't need to worry about being fined for it. Again, this is a LUXURY BUILDING. MANAGEMENT should be taking care of things like breaking down boxes and fixing up broken things. Responsiveness is the bare minimum. They cannot even do that. It's quite literally insane. They are quickly tarnishing our experience of living in this building.

Advice to the owners

Switch to another management company ASAP.

Targo Management is a nightmare

Pros

love the neighbors

Cons

Targo management is unresponsive to any work orders and tries to absolve any responsibility that should be on the management company to the tenant. They send out the most ridiculous emails threatening to fine tenants, and they take forever to resolve anything,
