Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Jonathan Ruhl reveals a mixed management performance. While some locations like 209 West 102 Street receive praise for cleanliness, responsive management, effective pest control, and respectful neighbors, others such as 31 West 8 Street are criticized heavily for poor cleanliness, pest infestations, and unresponsive management. Garbage management, maintenance responsiveness, and heating issues are recurring concerns in certain buildings. Tenants appreciate convenient locations and quiet neighbors where management is attentive, but complain of neglect, unsanitary conditions, and noise disturbances in less well-managed sites. Overall, expect variability in management quality across his portfolio, with some buildings well maintained and others facing serious upkeep challenges.

THE WORST BUILDING EVER

Pros

sunlight, location, vibrant neighborhood

Cons

The absolute worst building I have ever lived in, in manhattan. building management is horrible and building smells like shit

Okay but not worth it

Pros

convenient location near shops and trains.

Cons

Property manager is very difficult. The place is not super clean and is quite small for its price. Walls are thin and the heater is not always on in the winter.
