Pros
I knew the family from the neighborhood. Well-known for their art collection and highly regarded professionals in their fields, they took great pride in their home, would sit outside and regularly greet our West End neighbors. The Hewitt Family building is a lovely addition to the row of brownstones set in the heart of West End Avenue. One block from Broadway shops and trains, you have a space regularly adorned with flowers during the summer months. These clean, well-maintained apartments with large windows, high ceilings, original wood floors, and exposed brick are the perfect place to call home.
Cons
There are no complaints. The Davidson Hewitt Family LLC & Manager Ms. Tyus has had false complaints filed by a former tenant, who refused to pay rent for several years. Management is thorough and should address all matters immediately. This building is in a beautiful neighborhood, well-maintained, up to ALL New York City codes, standards, and inspections.
Advice to the owners
Be aware of "professional mon-rent paying tenants" that take advantage, will damage your property, file false complaints and will try to tarnish your good name. Proud to know your family, legacy of good will, charitable works and commitment to community.
