Nice building, terrible upkeep

Pros

It’s a beautiful building with original features on a historical street. Down the street from Brower Park, which is nice.

Cons

Management does the bare minimum for their tenants. If you’re looking for a building where the landlord proactively fixes things or cares about living conditions, this is not the place to live. When we moved in, the place obviously hadn't been cleaned or looked after for a long time. And ever since then, there's been a lot of issues that management is very slow to clean. Sinks backing up sewage, mold everywhere, pipes bursting and causing water damage. Then it takes days and even weeks sometimes for them to fix it. The water damage in our kitchen (which we have asked them to clean several times) recently grew a mushroom over our kitchen sink. It's extremely frustrating, especially considering the price of rent. My advice to you... don't live here.

Advice to the owners

Genuine question: would let you family members live in this building? My assumption would be no, but just reflect upon that question.

Pros

Affordable, big space, lots of character

Cons

Water pressure in the bathroom is bad. Could use an update in the kitchen.
