Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of buildings managed by Isaac Noy reveal a mixed but generally positive image. Tenants value the convenient locations, spacious apartments, and quiet, friendly neighbors in some buildings. Management responsiveness is often rated good, especially in addressing major issues, though some delays have occurred, notably in resolving rent credits after apartment disruptions. Cleanliness and garbage management vary by building, with some complaints about rats in backyards and occasional maintenance neglect. Noise levels reflect typical urban settings. Overall, tenants appreciate the upkeep and location but suggest improved pest control and quicker resolution of maintenance and compensation matters to enhance resident satisfaction.

Good location and decent management

Pros

Lived here for a few years and had an overall good experience. The apartment is a good size and great location.

Cons

Had a leak from rain and it took months to get a credit from the building for our time having to live elsewhere. they did resolve it eventually. The backyard does have rats but doesn’t affect inside of building

Overall Fine - Some issues could improve

Pros

The building is relatively clean for an East Village walk up. Apartments are a good size and neighbors are relatively quiet for the neighborhood.

Cons

The back yard is not the best with rats / trash sometimes overflowing but the inside building itself didn't have issues like that. There was a leak issue due to contractors not water proofing the roof that led to us being out of the apartment for close to a month. The building rectified the issue somewhat fast but took a long time to agree to terms with us on how they were going to pay us back for us being forced to live elsewhere for a month. The management was extremely slow to give us answers and it took 6 months to get our money back.
