Pros
Great location in Park Slope! You're < 10 mins from the 2/3 Bergen stop and about 15 mins from Atlantic Avenue/Barclays Center. Lots of great food and cafes around.
Cons
I'm not sure if this was specific to my unit but my room did not have heat or cooling the entire time I was there. We had vents in all the rooms for central temperature control and the vents did not work in my room. I had to put a window AC unit in my bedroom and use a space heater in the winter. The apartment is above a restaurant (my mistake) and the restaurant had a backyard patio which was underneath my bedroom. They would blast music until about midnight. Lastly, the mice. They were mice in the kitchen (on the counters), in my room, etc. It was awful. Took a few exterminator visits to address the problem. Oh and the building insulation was terrible. The unit across the hall had a toddler that would run back and forth and it would echo SO loudly in my apartment. I made many
Advice to the owners
Make yourself accessible to all tenants in the apartment regardless if they're leaseholders or not. Check that all rooms are being adequately heated and cooled.
