The gentrifier Spire
Pros
The apartment we’re in has a spacious living room, never had pest issues, never had issues with water or appliances. Close enough to the 3 and the 4 if those trains are good for you.
Cons
Only one washer and one dryer for the whole building and they don’t work great. No elevator so those stairs get tough if youre on the top floor. Sometimes the stairwell would have some real funky smells. It’s in the title but the building truly looks like a monument to gentrification that could only be built in nyc.
Advice to the owners
My advice is to tour it and make sure you like it and are okay with the laundry setup! There is a laundromat pretty close by if you’d rather just do that.

The people in the building are friendly.
Cons
This building had so many pest issues -- bed bugs, mice, roaches etc. They refused to treat the entire apartment until it got too late. I moved before the mice and bed bug issue was resolved. More than one unit was infested too.
