Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews for buildings managed by Remy Issembert indicate a mixed experience. While many residents praise the cleanliness, attentive superintendents, and general location benefits, significant issues with management responsiveness persist. Complaints about heating inadequacies and rodent infestations are frequent, with some residents expressing frustration over unaddressed maintenance requests and perceived high rent. The quality of neighbor interactions tends to be positive, but noise levels can vary. Overall, expect a well-maintained living space but anticipate challenges with management engagement, particularly regarding timely responses and pest control.

Not worth the price

Pros

Apartment itself is clean. Super can be responsive most of the time. Packages are brought inside.

Cons

Heat doesn’t work. It warms 1inch in front of the heater. You can hear when anyone is walking around in the apartment above you or outside in the hallway. Our water heater didn’t work for months and management refused to fix it until it started leaking. The main doors get stuck a lot and end up not locking/closing often.

Advice to the owners

offer some flexibility in leases and rent increases to keep long term tenants.
