Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants renting from MATTHEW LONUZZI generally find the buildings located in desirable, vibrant Brooklyn neighborhoods. Management is often described as polite, reasonable, and fairly responsive to issues, contributing positively to tenant relations. Cleanliness and garbage management tend to be well-handled, with some buildings having dedicated porters ensuring upkeep. However, heating can be inconsistent or insufficient in certain units, and some noise issues arise from busy streets or neighboring businesses, which are sometimes unavoidable given the locations. Pest control experiences vary, highlighting occasional presence of rodents in older buildings. Overall, renters can expect a fair living environment with attentive management, though some infrastructure updates could improve comfort and satisfaction.

Reviews

Decent apt, no frills, reasonable mgmt

Pros

In a good neighborhood, hardwood floors, washer/ dryer in building, fairly collaborative mgmt

Cons

Heater was not very powerful so winters were cold. Lots of noise from Atlantic Ave especially for the front bedrooms. The BQE gets backed up so drivers just honk their horns incessantly. I don’t remember the washer/dryer being the best.

Love this building!

Pros

Really great place to live and very reasonably priced. The building is very well maintained and the porter keeps it very clean. No doorman but it still feels very safe and secure. Love it here. Management is very responsive to any issues we've had and are overall very reasonable/polite people to work with which is sadly rare in NYC.

Cons

We do have a slight issue with our heat where our unit tends to run very warm even when we've turned off the heat, not sure why. But it's been mostly fixed.
