no heat, inconsistent hot water, neglectful management, keys don't work

at least there were no pests
Cons:
lack of heat, lack of consistent hot water, keys do not work in the door, constant leaks, the list goes on

rooftop access & in unit washer/dryer
Cons:
•lack of heat: endured 9 months without heat despite numerous complaints • poor maintenance response and apartment management • ceiling leaks during storms • power outage, lack of hot water in showers, and constant maintenance leading to water supply and electricity cutoffs • got locked out of apartment even with functioning keys • would not recommend this building or any building by this management, we ended up breaking the lease

Pros:
- Julian the super
- washer & dryer in the unit
Cons:
- Redstone Realty Property Management
- Avenues NY Real Estate: shady shady shady shady
- forces tenants to do guarantor's insurance even though you can afford the apt (was an extra $1400 based on my credit score at the time)
- listings almost always say includes a dishwasher but there is no dishwasher
- shower head
- 2nd bedroom is small
- the kitchen cabinets were not cleaned well when I moved in
- didn't allow walkthrough towards the end of the lease, said everything was left in good condition and that there were no damages and still took $325 out of my security deposit which was also mailed to me late
- camera connected to virtual doorman is very glitchy
- no physical key only a keycode for the bdlg and a keycode for your unti
- the area is shitty
- can't sleep cuz the 24/7 Bruckner Blvd traffic is insane
- dogshit often in front of the property
Advice to owner:
stop violating security deposit NYC laws
