Fine Apartment, Don't Expect Much From Owners

Pros:
Great location, rent stabilized apartments at a good price,
Cons:
Owner will respond to most maintenance requests saying it will "take a few days to get a guy there to fix it" and then never book someone, Trash is not secured in any way and is usually spilling out of the cans/have never been cleaned leaving a smell and buildup at the entrance, no exterminator has visited in the building in my 6 months of living here

No stove gas for 4 months

Pros:
Management was easily accessible, decent location.
Cons:
Gas was shut off for 4 months, and they did not fix it because the basement had asbestos.
Joseph G, the owner is a bully if you raise any concerns. He will try to intimidate you.

Good water pressure
Cons:
Landlord/owner is least responsive and very rude, and is of no help at all. Multiple layers of paint in my apartment caused damaging to the walls and excessive leaking of dirty water.

Bedbugs infestation - landlord useless

None? With the bedbugs, there are no “pros.”
Cons:
Massive undisclosed bedbug infestation. Landlord violated the law when I moved in by not informing me of an infestation within the last year. Infestation in my apartment was active pretty much the day I moved in. Landlord took minimal action with exterminator for the next year that was ultimately unsuccessful. Had to move. Ended up out thousands of dollars from having to throw out so much property and move again so soon.
Advice to owner:
Actually treat the problem.
