Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback on buildings managed by Sean Sinnreich reveals a mix of strengths and ongoing challenges. Apartments are often noted for renovations, good location, and certain amenities like in-unit laundry and storage. Pest control is generally adequate, with few reports of infestations. However, common issues include persistent leaks, slow or lacking management responsiveness, noise from proximity to train tracks, and occasional maintenance neglect. Tenants frequently cite frustration with delayed repairs and ineffective communication, negatively impacting tenant satisfaction. Improvements in timely maintenance, responsive management, and proactive infrastructure care would enhance the living experience under this landlord’s oversight.

3 floor had constant leaks

Pros

Nicely renovated apartment. Did not have a pest problem.

Cons

The building super never responded. Constant leaks from rain in 3 rooms. One bedroom very close to the M train tracks

Advice to the owners

Hire a super that is reachable .

Great location

Pros

Very close to both M and L trains. A supermarket is a block away. The apartment 3L is beautiful and new.

Cons

Right next to the train racks. You’ll hear the trains pass by. Apartment 3L leaks!! Every time it rains there’s a leak in the bathroom and the smallest room. The owner was told numerous times and nothing significant was ever done. The ceiling would come down and they would just paint it back up. And it just looks alright till the next rainstorm. Aggravating. Then when it was time to renew the lease they DARED to tell us the rent is going up if we continue living there and when we mentioned the constant leaks they acted oblivious to the whole thing. “I didn’t know there was an issue”. So the countless emails and you telling us it’ll get fixed doesn’t ring a bell? Very frustrating. Moved out as soon as the lease was over.

Advice to the owners

When there’s a reoccurring issue that the tenants are complaining about it needs to be fixed so it doesn’t happen again. Not make it look like it was fixed and give people false promises.
