Reviews

Former tenant·Over 2 years ago

Fine place, good neighborhood

Pros

Clean, elevator worked well.

Cons

Neighbors were hit or miss. Super was nice but would sometimes be really strict about things for no reason.

Former tenant·Over 3 years ago

Do no rent this place even though it seems like a great deal

Pros

Huge apartment space, ample sunlight, very friendly neighbors who have been living here for a while, elevator building.

Cons

The super in this building is a rude misogynistic asshole and will never get anything done. He will blame it on you as a tenant for not doing his job. He also didn’t wear a mask during the height of covid. Probably a Trump supporter. Heat doesn’t really work until it gets really cold out. There is a pest issue in this building (roaches) and the place isn’t exactly soundproof. It’s impossible to get a washing/dryer machine since there are only 3 units each for the whole building. The kitchen is tiny and inefficient in comparison to the large space. The appliances are old and never work properly (super never came around to fix it). Paying rent is a bitch since they don’t provide an electronic portal.

Advice to the owners

Don’t make your tenant pay for a structural issue that you have failed to maintain. We know and we will warn others not to rent this miserable place.
