Great location, iffy building

Pros

Lived in a short term apartment on 5th floor: -Great location -Laundry in unit -Good virtual doorman system

Cons

-Rental company was terrible and would allow people to tour the apartment and rooms with little to no notice -Multiple cockroaches spotted and pest control too long to come -Could smell cigarette smoke from the apartments below us -No lock on the apartment door, just a code -Bedroom walls are extremely thin and sound travels -Agent verbally confirmed the lease could be renewed for another month, but took it back 3 days before the extension date, was left scrambling for a new place to stay

Advice to the owners

To APT212: You’re incredibly inconsiderate of your tenants and take advantage of people who need to find short term leases quickly, and force them out whenever you find someone who’ll rent for longer. Do better
