Landlord refused maintenance and forced me to break lease

Within a month of moving in, I smelled gas from my stove after not using it all day and called the fire department. They came and confirmed a gas leak, disconnected the stove and had the gas company come and confirm it as well. When I told the landlord she got mad at me for calling the fire department and insisted the gas company was lying about the leak. Then she had someone come reconnect the stove without fixing it while I wasn't home. Also found a ton of mouse poop inside the stove while the fire department was testing it and when I told the landlord she insisted there were no mice and refused to send an exterminator. She suggested I should move if I wasn't happy, which I did after less than 2 months, and then she proceeded to relist the apartment and raise the rent.

Pros
Pros: Great landlord and live in super. It’s not fancy or updated but place is kept really clean. Good closet space and high ceilings. Rent stabilized. Centrally located in a great neighborhood. You control your own heat (which you also pay for so this could be a con for some folks).
Cons
Cons: (and the only reason I moved) It’s in a noisy location. Corner building above restaurants and bars. High volume traffic including bus stop right below and truck traffic to the expressway and Navy Yard. Bars and restaurants open until 4 AM so noise/yelling on the street in the middle of the night. But I lived here for 4 years in spite of the noise because the rest was so good.

Nothing! They are great!
