Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews for buildings managed by Moshe Silberstein reflect a mixed experience. Cleanliness varies widely, with some buildings facing neglect while others are well-maintained. Garbage management receives high marks, and noise levels tend to be acceptable. Heat quality is a recurring concern, especially in winter, potentially highlighting issues with HVAC systems. While responsiveness from management is generally favorable, some renters have noted delays in addressing maintenance problems. The buildings’ amenities, such as balconies and rooftops, are appreciated but require better upkeep. Overall, while there are redeeming qualities, significant improvements in maintenance and security could enhance the living experience.

Complete apartment HEAVEN!!

Pros

I lived facing the back side of the apartment so u literally hear no noise at all! No pests whatsoever and if we ever did get like a house fly it was from opening a window. Has a full on porch in every unit in one of the rooms and i just think you get so much bang for ur buck. also the HVAC is heaven sent during NYC summers

Cons

Tbh anything i didnt like was tolerable and just nyc stuff like the smell of weed in the halls, sometimes management takes a bit to solve issues but they always came eventually, oh and someone used to steal packages but luckily mine never got stolen. Another thing the heating in the hvac could be a lot better i would be freezing my balls off in the winter and it takes a while to fully start blowing heat.

Advice to the owners

Clean up the roof, make the building a little bit more secure so people arent stealing packages, spray some febreeze in the stairways lol

Loved This Building 5 Years ago

Pros

The Balcony was amazing, beautiful sunsets on the roof, backyard, lots of natural light, not looking in anyone's window, next to grocery store, two trains , laundry in the building

Cons

Small. Management moved in a bunch of 23 year olds and the roof went to shit. Like most luxury buildings it sort of set it and forget it. It was a BEAUTIFUL apartment, and well-loved but over the years it started to look crappy and neglected

Advice to the owners

Please repair the room and hire someone to clean the gym once a month
