Do not be fooled

Pros

Location location location! This building seems luxurious, but it’s literally the definition of beauty on the outside and rotten on the inside

Cons

-Elevators are always out of order and have a history of dropping - Cardio gym always has broken machines, they haven’t replaced them in years. The weight gym always has bugs and smells horrible. -We’ve had a broken AC for over a year, they continuously replace them with”fixed” units from other apartments. We have been told twice we need an electrician because our AC keeps tripping the breaker, but the manager refuses to schedule one. -They replaced appliances with plastic crappy appliances -windows only get cleaned once every 3-4 years, this year when they were clean, they didn’t use the proper cleaning solution and our windows look worse than they did before they clean them. We pay all this money for a Manhattan skyline view and can’t even see out the windows when we reported this to Managment they basically said well we cleaned them. Oh well. -every summer there are Beatles or small little bugs that ravage the cupboards in the kitchen, no matter how clean we are, they always come back -the leasing agent, Courtney, is so nice when you are applying for the apartment but the minute you sign your lease she is so disrespectful and will take every opportunity to be disrespectful and rude to you -the flooring in each apartment is continuously coming up, I’ve cut myself on the wood and when I requested them to fix it, they replaced the flooring with different color flooring. -air conditioning and heat is never consistent and many apartments have gone winters without heat and summers without AC -Packages often get lost, the Doorman Sunday is too busy on his phone to actually do his job -We have lived here for 4+ years and the Super has changed about seven times. There is never consistency with maintenance and we have experienced numerous floods throughout the building. -hallways are notoriously, not air, conditioned, and smell of mildew. You can tell the rugs have not been clean in years. -we’ve had our washing machine replaced twice with outdated models, there is always someone in the building with a broken washer machine. -the bathroom vents do not work and most of the bathroom smell like mildew. We clean our bathroom weekly and have a dehumidifier, but it continues to get moldy. The Super tried to tell us it was our fault. -the drains notoriously do not drain and we often experience brown water -this building has all the luxuries with no upkeep, management or support.
