Check for mold!
Pros
Location is great, very charming space, building management is responsive
Cons
Windows were never cleaned in my 2 years of living there, so dirty you couldn’t see out, we reported mold in the bathroom and instead of fully removing it the company slapped some paint over it, clearly filled with NYU college kids/recent post grad, bedrooms are small with confusing layouts, rent increases are not worth the cost
Advice to the owners
Clean the spaces!!!

- Desirable location - No noise or other issues with neighbors - Good wash & fold service nearby that does pickup
Cons
- Management is bad about fixing things (have to follow up many times). Didn’t communicate that very loud, disruptive construction on the building would be ongoing for months - Occasional cockroaches - Windows are old and have gaps which means bugs get in
