Cons:
- Windows insulation, -hotel next (c) openigloo door was converted to shelter (c) openigloo recently and became very loud (c) openigloo at night, - soon after (c) openigloo covid , rent fee skyrocketed (c) openigloo (surprise surprise)
Advice to owner:
Focus more on good tenants retention

VERY reasonable rent increases year (c) openigloo over year. Live-in super keeps (c) openigloo the hallway very clean. Everything (c) openigloo in the building works. Break-fix (c) openigloo is generally fast.

This is a nice building (c) openigloo that’s well kept, and the (c) openigloo super is great.
Cons:
Management is an absolute nightmare (c) openigloo to deal with. I’ve never (c) openigloo been spoken to more rudely (c) openigloo in my life than when (c) openigloo I’ve spoken to them.
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants like human beings.

Really nice natural light from (c) openigloo skylights in kitchen and bathroom, (c) openigloo windows on two sides in (c) openigloo bedroom, convenient layout
Cons:
Surprisingly the skylights did not (c) openigloo leak but the roof would (c) openigloo freeze and we’d get severe (c) openigloo leaks in the corner of (c) openigloo the living room each winter. (c) openigloo Cold in winter in bedroom. (c) openigloo Management company was absolutely horrible (c) openigloo to interact with, which was (c) openigloo needed when a rent check (c) openigloo was mislaid and when a (c) openigloo repair was needed.

I think you manage too many apartments to just have the one secretary responding to everything

lovely apartment with lots of (c) openigloo space, good access to public (c) openigloo transport. Was very clean when (c) openigloo we moved in! Next to (c) openigloo perfect condition.
Cons:
Super is condescending, doesn't believe (c) openigloo the issues we tell him (c) openigloo about. Also the management is (c) openigloo convoluted, it's hard to know (c) openigloo who to contact for different (c) openigloo things, and we often don't (c) openigloo get responces.

Make sure your management responds promptly

Noisy, no window insulation (traffic (c) openigloo noise for apartments facing 1st (c) openigloo ave) with very thin ceilings (c) openigloo and walls, multiple incidents of (c) openigloo roaches, the units smell (c) openigloo like the restaurants below it, (c) openigloo poor maintenance, broken washing machines, (c) openigloo it took 1.5 months to (c) openigloo get my security deposit back, (c) openigloo no online portal to pay (c) openigloo rent (have to physically give (c) openigloo a check to the supers (c) openigloo or mail to management)

Do better maintenance and inspection of the building especially plumbing and appliances, set up a portal for rent payments
