Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant feedback for THE 141 CONDOMINIUM properties reflects a mixed management experience. Positive notes include clean, spacious units with original flooring, attentive doormen, and a convenient location near parks. Many appreciate the friendly neighbors and prompt responsiveness from management. However, some report significant issues such as poor ventilation leading to mold and pest problems, unreliable heating and AC, delayed repairs, and management indifference. Noise and outdated common areas are occasional concerns. Rent increases are expected in this desirable area, but some renters find costs prohibitive. Overall, while many praise staff and building features, maintenance responsiveness can be inconsistent, advising potential tenants to consider individual unit conditions closely.

Reviews

Great location, large bedrooms that are separate in exchange for small kitchen /living area

Pros

Huge rooms with lovely original parquet floors. Decent light. Doorman. Laundry in building. Close to the lovely Sutton Pl Park on E 57th for some respite from Midtown craziness. Very lovely and responsive landlord.

Cons

Very small kitchen, and cosy living room. But in exchange you had larger rooms. Rent increased as the weight of Covid lifted. The process of going through a condominium approval is arduous and pricy, but the doormen were very lovely and noise levels were very very low. Price did increase too high for us to stay, but I suppose that's to be expected for this neighborhood.
