Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews of buildings managed by Edward Adler reveal a mixed management approach. While some residents praise the cleanliness, unique apartment layouts, good neighbors, and responsive superintendents, others report significant issues including unresponsive management, poor garbage handling, persistent pest problems, and maintenance delays. Heating and noise levels also vary, with some enjoying quiet atmospheres and adequate heat, while others face discomfort due to faulty systems or noise. Communication inconsistencies and dissatisfaction with management responsiveness are common themes. Overall, tenants can expect well-located, appealing units but should be prepared for potential management and maintenance challenges under Edward Adler’s oversight.

Great street, great neighbors

Pros

Apartment layouts are very unique and laundry in building. Near all the best places of the UES and subway.

Cons

If you face the street, you might hear some traffic in the morning but nothing crazy. It’s a pretty residential street and clean.

Great view, terrible management

Pros

It’s an amazing apartment with so much space. The balconies are beautiful. The view is lovely. The two bathrooms are amazing.

Cons

Not taken care of. The management is the most horrible, unresponsive.
