Incredibly sketchy owners and building management. They refused to do anything to fix serious issues. The building management is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. You call their office and it goes to an awful receptionist who tells you everyone is “unavailable” and refuses to give you direct contact information. It’s extremely difficult to get in touch with anyone about problems and when you finally do they will completely stop responding and never fix the issues. Only move here if you are absolutely sure you will never need anything to be fixed because you’ll never be able to reach someone. The building doesn’t give a shit about you and will try to get you to move out so they can move on to the next victim

Greenpoint is a great neighborhood
Cons
By far the most poorly managed building I lived in. The apartment itself is ok if nothing goes wrong... but count on something going wrong. Count on simple quality of life issues that you probably have taken for granted in past apartments, like gas leaks, broken locks, plumbing issues, roof leaks, rats, and basic safety.
