Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Frank Hodge consistently points to significant management shortcomings. Renters frequently cite poor cleanliness, pest infestations, and ineffective garbage management. Heating systems are often unreliable, and water pressure is generally weak. Many describe management as unresponsive, difficult to contact, and lacking professionalism. Noise levels and safety concerns also detract from the living experience. While some locations benefit from good neighbors and desirable neighborhoods, overall dissatisfaction with the landlord's responsiveness and property upkeep is prevalent. Tenants advise improved communication, genuine care for residents, and more competent building supervision to enhance livability.

AVOID THIS BUILDING

Pros

Culture-rich neighborhood, beautiful park

Cons

Landlord and property management is absolutely awful. They cancelled our lease after asking basic safety questions (after we had already paid security and first) - we were able to get the money back thank God SUPER sketchy and disrespectful - do not care about their tenants google the name "Jack Geula" and see for yourself I'm writing this review to save someone else - I am so grateful we dodged a bullet with the lease being terminated

Advice to the owners

Start caring about your tenants, have some integrity, life is short - don't be a scumbag

Not renewing lease

Pros

Very quiet building in good location

Cons

The building stairs are always dirty/disgusting, management absolutely sucks, we had a huge pest problem when we just moved in that was not under control and took a lot of back and forth to get to a better place. Heat is either on when it's not supposed to be like in 70 degree weather and off when you need it most. Overall mid experience and will not be renewing when my lease is up.

Advice to the owners

Actually care about your tenants or hire real management
