Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback on Michael Goldberg’s buildings reveals a mixed management reputation. Some buildings are praised for good heating, cleanliness, and responsive maintenance staff, with tenants appreciating quiet environments and friendly neighbors. However, many reviews point to significant issues including poor pest control, building neglect, outdated infrastructure, and slow or ineffective landlord responsiveness. Management is often described as unresponsive, with some tenants reporting security concerns, noise disturbances, and unaddressed repair needs. Several buildings face problems with garbage management and cleanliness, while rent payment processes are seen as inconvenient. Prospective renters should expect inconsistency in upkeep and responsiveness across properties.

Use to be good

Pros

The super keeps the building clean and the neighbors that's lived in the building a long time are good people.

Cons

The newer neighbors trash the building and leave the lobby door open. The neighborhood has gone down the past couple of years which reflects on the building. As much as the super cleans, people come in and dirty the building or break the lobby lock. There are roaches and sometimes mice. That happens when they made apartments in the basement.

Advice to the owners

Have security camera to cath those who breaks the lobby door and dirty the building. Invest money in stopping the roaches and mice.
