Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of buildings managed by Ahron Freidus indicate a mix of experiences. Tenants consistently praise the attentive staff, including doormen and superintendents, who maintain cleanliness and address maintenance requests promptly. Garbage management is often noted as well organized. However, management responsiveness varies, with some renters finding it slow or unhelpful. Noise levels can be an issue, especially due to thin walls and nearby construction. Several tenants suggest improvements such as lobby renovations, upgrading laundry facilities, and fixing elevators. While some recommend the buildings for their location and staff, others find them less suitable due to management and noise concerns.

Great Staff, but not worth the price

Pros

The doormen, super, handymen, porters are all great. They keep the place very clean. The super is very responsive.

Cons

The management company is impossible to get a hold of. The floors and walls are VERY thin. If you are sensitive to noise from neighbors, this is not the building for you. The laundry room is small and there are often at least 2 machines broken. It is constantly busy. Best for couples or singles, not great for families. Hallway carpets and painting is old and dingy. It definitely needs a refresh. The realtor they use is a yes man. He will tell you yes to anything to get you into the apartment, even when it is not true.

Advice to the owners

Renovate the hallways, update the laundry room and add more machines.

Great Building in a good location

Pros

The building is clean and well maintained . The staff and very nice. Any issues we have with our apartment are fixed in less than 24 hours. Garbage is removed from each floor daily. There are plenty of washers and dryers.

Cons

The building is located in a high traffic area so sometimes traffic noise can be heard.
