Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants of buildings managed by Michael Sacchetti report a mix of experiences. Many praise responsive and helpful supers, generally clean laundry facilities, and good locations close to transit and amenities. However, several reviews note inconsistent management responsiveness, with some tenants experiencing delays in maintenance, pest control issues (especially mice and cockroaches), and occasional building repairs being neglected. Noise levels vary depending on the building and neighborhood. Some renters appreciate quiet neighbors, though others mention thin walls and problematic neighbors. Package theft and security concerns arise at a few sites. Overall, management is commended for attentiveness in some buildings but criticized for lack of timely action and infrastructure upgrades in others.

Clean, responsive, prime location

Pros

Live in super, management and maintenance quick to respond to issues. Laundry room in basement is clean. Elevator was modernized a few years ago and is now much more reliable.

Cons

On 2nd Avenue with bars and restaurants on street level can make front facing units noisy. Despite 2 locked front doors, packages frequently stolen from lobby.

Great Neighborhood but Really outdated smelly building

Pros

Great neighborhood, not expensive

Cons

Really Dirty, rarely cleaning the hallways and stairs. No security cameras and packages getting stolen, management aware but do nothing. In the Fall, if you live in the 6th floor, good luck - the roof is licking and there always a smell of canalization coming from bathroom pipes.
