Pros

Good value, convenient location, good neighbors

Cons

We have seen cockroaches, laundry room is small and dirty

Advice to the owners

Clean more please

Former tenant·Over 4 years ago

convenient location but super cheap landlord

Pros

location: very close to central park, the met, mass transit (bus, 4/5/6 & Q lines) neighborhood: relatively quiet and residential

Cons

outdated amenities: landlord has not replaced “amenities” in a veryyyy long time. elevator breaks all the time—like sometimes multiple times in a week or month. the basement is unkempt. there are two washers and two dryers. neither set have been replaced in over a decade. it is not unusual for a washer to be broken or for it to not drain or for it to rip or leave oil stains on your clothing. one of the dryers burns clothes. landlord is cheap: in addition to being too cheap to replace amenities, they are not really charging market for the apartments. they charge a broker’s fee for doing zero work. there are many times in the winter when the boiler is broken—leading to a very cold apartment and/or no hot water. walls are paper thin. i can hear my neighbors as if they are in my apartment. there leaks that only get spackled and painted over vs truly fixed.

Advice to the owners

update your property to match the amenities that we pay for. it is turning into a cesspool.
