Unresponsive landlord who doesn’t take care of basic necessities
Pros
Great neighbors and area. Super close to everything. You’re right next to 2 main roads within 2-3 blocks. And everything you need is nearby. Train is a 10 minute walk too.
Cons
Landlord is unresponsive when things are broken in the apartment. But gets upset when rent isn’t paid early or on time. The oven and stove have been broken since I first moved in 10 months ago. So cooking is kind of a pain. The walls are falling apart. 2 windows snapped off the hinges and are being held with duct tape. Lots of pests crawling around in the summer months. Also- the radiators are way too hot in the winter. So you have to leave the windows open 80% of the time. Just not a pleasant environment. The rent is cheap however.
Advice to the owners
Please fix the unit and listen to your tenants. Give them a clean, happy environment. This is our home.
