1st floor always reeks like nasty cigarettes and fried fish due to odor emanating from Super's apt

The walls and floor are extremely thin, and you can hear neighbors' conversations.
Heating radiators are old and make loud clicking sounds that can happen in the middle of the night and wake you up. Also, these do run constantly.
Kids are running around uncontrolled by these parents who lack any effort in disciplinary actions and building structure in the households.
Rented, the apartment was not ready on the start date, shitty job of painting and venting of fumes, did not clean apartment during for new tenants, and many more.
Rent was increased right before signing, had to sign lease because of circumstances. Seems like a predatory practice they do.
Advice to owner:
Add more sounds proofing to apartment and update heating you greedy owners.

Lots of space, backyard, live in super, rent stabilized units,
Cons:
Elevators really slow/breakdown like every other month, neighbors can be noisy when using backyard area, old appliances
Advice to owner:
Adding some modern updates to appliances in units and elevator/laundry room is needed

Quiet building with good neighbors and great sized apartments
Cons:
Building is not the most attentive and packages get stolen a lot.

Check in on apartments and be proactive about repairs and updates.
