Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants in buildings managed by Lukasz Stapor report a mix of positives and significant management challenges. The buildings often have good locations, decent-sized units, and friendly neighbors, with superintendents frequently praised for their helpfulness. Garbage management tends to be effective, and heating usually works well. However, many renters express frustration over poor owner responsiveness, slow or neglected repairs, and pest issues. Maintenance delays are common, and communication from management is often described as unresponsive or difficult. Some reviews also cite aging infrastructure and cleanliness concerns. Overall, renters should be prepared for management inconsistencies despite generally pleasant community atmospheres.

Overall Good Building

Pros

Well-maintained, easy to get a hold of super, nice neighbors

Cons

The overall smell in the first floor is odd, mostly smells like cat

Great Area But Horrible Management

Pros

I was in 4R and I had a W/D and dishwasher in unit with both bedrooms on either side of the apartment. Tenants in the building are all fine.

Cons

It's a 4th floor walkup so that can be a lot if you're carrying something. Also Lukasz Stapor, the person assigned to take care of the building by Citi Urban Management, is horrible at his job. He is incompetent. There was a leak that I reported and nothing was done about it. Eventually it turned into full on water damage that spread all along the top of my closet. It took months to finally get someone to come and fix it. Also, it became a regular occurrence where a squirrel would get into the ceiling and make noises. It was horrible to live with. It took forever to get an exterminator come and fix it. For both these problems, I was able to get it fixed after consistently calling and texting. Reporting problems in their official portal does nothing.
