1016 Carroll Street
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice neighbors and lovely roof
Cons:
The AC is broken and management put various bandaids and refused to fix the source problem of the leak.
Advice to owner:
Replace your AC system.

Not the worst?
Former Tenant
Pros:
They’ve recently added street lights and speed bumps right outside. Neighborhood folk are very interesting! Rooftop is nice
Cons:
Moldy windows and bathrooms, leaking sprinklers and AC units, hallway and common areas are unkept and grimey. Laundry situation is bad (4 washers to 2 dryers???!) walls are thin and neighbors can be loud, especially with rooftop parties
Advice to owner:
Can’t help you here 🥲

Save yourself the trouble, live elsewhere
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building has good amenities, and management kept it clean (for the most part)
Cons:
Building did have recent amenities but we were not able to enjoy them for the entire year we were there.
(1) AC didn't work for the first month we were there in the middle of the summer, management didn't act fast enough
(2) Management was so hard to work with, there were 3 "supers" in rotation and communicating with them was so hard
(3) Mold and mildew buildup and they didn't act fast enough
(4) Apartment handoff from previous tenant to us was so disorganized, they never changed the locks and didn't properly inspect the unit before we moved in. It took them weeks to repaint the apartment after we had already moved in and had furniture already set
this list can go on... do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live
Advice to owner:
Please oversee your property and do better in communicating with tenants

Decent place in Crown Heights
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to subway and plenty of space. Everything updates
Cons:
Modern amenities may not be the best quality. Noise is annoying
