Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Edward Kaminsky reveals mixed experiences. While some residents appreciate decent rent prices and convenient locations, many highlight serious management shortcomings, including poor cleanliness, unresolved maintenance issues like leaks and water damage, and slow responsiveness from superintendents and owners. Garbage management is often rated better than overall cleanliness, but pest control and noise disturbances remain concerns. Frequent complaints about security and lobby conditions also surface. Tenants suggest more proactive maintenance, improved outdoor area upkeep, and stricter noise control. Overall, tenants expect more attentive and timely management to enhance living conditions in these properties.

Reviews

Former tenant·13 hours ago

Potential to be great with better management.

Pros

Friendly neighbors, pre-war apartments.

Cons

Dusty lobby and hallways. Parties / lots of noise in front of building. Lack of cleanliness in back common garden area of building. Leaks & lots of water damage in many of the apartments that management / owners do not properly fix or care of.

Advice to the owners

Take the time to actually fix the leaks in the building, have someone tend to the outdoor area / back entrance. Stop the gatherings with loud music in front of the property and this would be a great property.
