Not well maintained, pests in the summer

Quiet street, friendly neighbors, great location

Owner was very responsive but every request had to go through the property manager, who was hard to get a hold of at times. Building was not well maintained, hallways and stairs were dirty and had dead roaches. Mail room was quite dirty and also had dead roaches. Trash area frequently overflowed. Apartment was almost broken into and management said they would change the locks, yet it took a year for that to happen.
Advice to the owners
Pay more attention to this building, the responsiveness of the people you hire, and have people maintain the common areas

Friendly neighbors, responsive landlord, super friendly maintenance man, excellent peaceful block in an awesome neighborhood
Cons
The building is old and there were a few age-related issues that came up over the years. One of the main contacts for maintenance issues observes sabbath and can’t be reached on Saturdays.
Advice to the owners
Keep up the good work. Check into the windows and stairs a little more regularly and see if anything needs repairs or upkeep instead of waiting for big noticeable issues to pop up.
