Cons: • The apartment is infested with roaches and mice. • Strong smell of weed and cigarettes regularly fills the house especially when Chris (the son) and the worker next door is there. • The bathroom is unsanitary and full of mold. On multiple occasions, Mahalia (the daughter) bodily fluids, including menstrual blood, were left on the toilet seat, and the issue was never addressed. • Random men (accompanied by Mahalia and Claudine) are often in and out of the home, including some using the restroom with the door wide open. • The landlord’s adult son Chris sleeps on the living room couch and brings over multiple different women regularly, affecting the privacy and safety of others in the home. • Claudine plays Loud Jamaican music and blasts both inside and outside the home all summer long with no regard for tenants. • The kitchen is constantly in use, making it hard to cook or access basic amenities. • The landlord expects tenants to clean her house, care for her children, and behave like live-in help rather than renters. • There are unknown people living in the basement, who are not disclosed or on any lease. • Overall, the apartment is chaotic, unsanitary, and not worth $850 a month in any way.

Stop renting and take care of your home and kids.
