Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Reviews for buildings under David Kramer's management reveal significant maintenance and management issues. Tenants frequently report poor cleanliness, ineffective garbage management, and pest infestations. Heating systems are often unreliable, and residents express concerns about building security and noise levels. The owner responsiveness is consistently rated poorly, with reports of slow or no action on critical issues like broken locks and infestations. Some appreciate the location and rent stabilization benefits, but overall, renters advise improved property upkeep, better security measures, and proactive management to enhance living conditions. The general sentiment indicates dissatisfaction with the current management approach.

Former tenant·9 minutes ago

Tenant lounge was never made open for tenants and is full of someone's garbage

Pros

neighborhood is great

Cons

-Courtyard is not maintained. Its an overgrown mess full of rotting and dead plants. -Roaches. -The tenant lounge was never opened with no explanation. It's full of someone's stuff-shovels, papers, files, unwanted furniture etc. -Gym is unusable. Its filthy and the machines are broken, other equipment was stolen and never replaced.

Advice to the owners

Clean up the place, hire a real exterminator.

its a great building

Pros

great location, competitive rents for the neighbpourhood, building built with quality materials

Cons

garbage rooms not cleaned often. the staircase is cleaned maybe twice a year hostile unresponsive owner, taking advantage of the fact the building is stabilized issues with breaking in by the local homeless and addicts, the owner does nothing about it the street is quite noisy if your unit is facing it. the media room is full with someone's personal stuff so it cannot be used.

Advice to the owners

dont own a stabilized building if you dont plan on maintaining it
