Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for Clover Barrett’s buildings reflects significant management shortcomings. Renters report persistent issues such as lack of heat and hot water lasting months, poor cleanliness, inadequate garbage management, pest infestations, and water leakage problems. Moreover, residents consistently describe the landlord as unresponsive and negligent in addressing critical maintenance needs. While neighbors are sometimes mentioned as friendly, this positive hardly mitigates the overall dissatisfaction. Prospective tenants should be wary of poor living conditions and lack of timely management intervention in these properties. Improvements in communication and building upkeep are crucial to enhance tenant experience under this landlord.

Cons

as of 2/22/2025, we have been without heat and hot water for almost five months. the landlord (clover barrett) is unresponsive and will not fix the problem. she is a crook and should not be trusted. she blames the city for the problem, but in reality it is her own negligence that we are freezing in the dead of winter. DO NOT LIVE IN ANY OF HER PROPERTIES
