Major problems

Pros

Great layouts and outdoor space, close to the subway. Theoretically, access to various perks.

Cons

Renovation to the building left some structural issues in place that severely affected my experience and management responsiveness was very poor. Pest issues were not handled well.

Advice to the owners

Be responsive and communicative with tenants. Do not shortcut repairs/pest infestations as it will just make it worse down the line.

Pretty, new appliances, bright.

Cons

The worst management company I've ever experienced in New York City and anywhere. A nightmare beginning to end. Stay away from ANYTHING Venn-owned!

Advice to the owners

I don't have advice to give except to rethink your entire business model.
