Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews for buildings managed by Simeon Farber consistently report poor upkeep and management. Common issues include inadequate cleanliness, insufficient heating, pest infestations, and unreliable water pressure. Garbage management is often subpar, with neglected hallways and general disrepair throughout the properties. Residents frequently express frustration with the owner's unresponsiveness and lack of proactive maintenance, feeling the focus is solely on rent collection rather than tenant well-being. While some neighbors are friendly, noise levels and overcrowding detract from comfort. Overall, tenants advise urgent renovations and improved management attention to elevate living conditions in these buildings.

Reviews

It's relatively cheap but …

Pros

Nice. At times quiet.

Cons

Too many people here for such a small building. Problems receiving mail. It's a real hassle!

Advice to the owners

Please check your security camera a little more often. You might be surprised what really goes on.

Bad place to live

Pros

People are friendly.

Cons

The building is not kept clean. Always running out of hot water. Mice run the building. The landlord only cares if you pay the rent. This building needs major work. In the apartment and outside. Third World conditions.

Advice to the owners

Stop just trying to collect the rent and do something about the conditions of this building.
